This is the Beyond the Story podcast, a show that goes way beyond the story. And now, Sebastian Rusk Svetlana, welcome to the show.
Sebastian Rusk
Thank you for having me, Sebastian.
Svetlana Rilkoff
Hey, thanks for being here. I appreciate you taking some time out of your day to hang out with me for a few minutes and tell your story on this podcast. I love telling people's story. I know you and I recently connected as part of a group that we're part of together with the great Dan Martell. So always great to meet some new faces, especially on the podcast. To kick things off and give our listeners some context, I like to go back to the beginning of the story, wherever the beginning is for you and help people better understand a little bit about your backstory and what really brought you into present day with what you're working on. And then of course, we'll talk about all the exciting things you got going. I know you got a big 2025 plan and can't wait to hear about that, but let's back up a little bit to the beginning of the story.
Sebastian Rusk
Yeah, that sounds great. I love telling my story. I've been getting better and better at it. So I'm currently in Kelowna, BC, Canada. I've been a former registered nurse for 25 years. I'm a mother of two. And, um, you know, like everybody, I was just going along my life and five years ago, um, almost like, uh, our, our planet got rocked and I got rocked with it. So. Leading up to present day, I currently have a private healthcare business. And about three years ago, I stepped out of the public healthcare system in BC. I was let go, terminated, because I refused the COVID-19 vaccine. And then I started my own private healthcare company called Ezra Healing. And we've been standing in our truth and just being open to helping as many people as we can. And we see many people with vaccine injuries and turbo cancer and mental health breakdown. So we are creating the new parallel healthcare system to be able to help these people and have long-term solutions. So we're getting amazing success with our interventions and we're going to continue to build and find solutions. So I really want to be able to share people's stories of their healing journey. I find that when people are heard, that's about 50% of healing. So that's part of my healing solutions in my nursing toolbox is to help people and empower them to be heard. There's a lot of heart healing and physical healing that comes from telling your story and being heard and being validated by a bigger population. So it's, you know, this has helped me personally, even from all the podcasts that I've been doing for the last three years. I want to be able to give that opportunity to other people. And for me, this is the real science. This is the real research that's occurring is when we hear people's healing testimonies. So it's brought me up to, you know, to you, we found each other in the Martell group. And I really want to be, you know, seeing myself in a media sort of company in a big way. And it starts with a really good solid podcast with a good foundation, with a good teacher. And I saw you and I was just really attracted to your business model and you show a lot of experience. So I want what you have. So that's why I'm here today.
But we can definitely make that happen. I'm so glad that you did, that we had a chance to connect. So based on what you said regarding you were forced to leave your position based on the decision you made when the pandemic hit, do you think had the pandemic not hit, you probably would have found another reason to get the heck out of there?
You know, to be honest, no, absolutely not. I was, you know, I wasn't fully content because I knew the healthcare model didn't sit on the, you know, do no harm, primary prevention, disease prevention model, but I was comfortable. And, you know, but deep inside there was something missing. I was missing something in my life, I would say most of my career. And when the pandemic showed up, And I was forced to take a stand for what I believed in. I had a lot of purpose in my life then. So it was a purpose-driven life every day since I was terminated for refusing that. And there's 4,000 other nurses in British Columbia that are the same. So I'm in such a place of amazing growth spurt, and every day is a new day. So no regrets, and I'm glad we're here.
Well, I mean, that's what I meant by that. Usually, yeah, there's a circumstance that pushes us over the edge to be able to make that jump when we're kind of hesitant about making it on there. But there's also that deep down inclination where you're like, wait a second, there has to be something else there for me. And that's kind of what I was referring to. So either way, all it takes is just making the jump, right?
Well, I'll tell you, I have a lot of pain as well. And that pain is my diesel and my power fuel to get my passion across. So in 2022, I lost custody of both of my children. They were nine and 11 at the time. And I lost custody of them because they refused to vaccinate them against the C-19. So and the reason why I did that is because I was seeing injuries in live time. So why would I put that poison into my children? So I lost custody of them for that reason. And since then, I've had like the jet fuel, the mama bear jet fuel to, you know, bring real healing solutions to the planet and help eliminate vaccines completely altogether.
Yeah, I mean, I'd say that's some form of motivation for sure when it comes to our own offspring, absolutely. So let's talk about what you've created since then, what the business does, how it actually helps people and the real meat and potatoes, if you will, of your brand and your business.
Yeah, so Ezra Healing sits on the do no harm model of care. Basically every intervention that we offer is meant to do no harm, but only help people. So essentially we are an alternative or parallel healthcare system. And that is the vision that I have for this. So we're standing in the gap and people come to us and when they come to us, they're ready for the true healing solution. I'll give you an example of a typical client that we see, maybe a 45 year old woman with breast cancer. Okay, she was put through the chemo radiation and surgery funnel to help her cancer. Well, the cancer came back a year later. So she finds us because she wants permanent healing solutions and maybe her friend told her about us and she's just curious. So she comes, she makes an appointment with me or talks to one of our admin people on the phone and we have a consultation and we are able to offer that woman healing solutions to help her not only with the trauma of what she just experienced in the medical system, but a real lasting healing solution and a community where she is totally accepted and she can talk about these things freely.
Amazing. So is it always, you mentioned some heart-based stuff and some heart-centered stuff and some heart-based healing. As an individual who's done some pretty deep healing for myself over the course of the past, I guess it's coming on nine years, which is a little crazy to even say, but It all started with going to a personal development course of sorts that really made, forced you inside of yourself to identify past trauma, heal it, own it, become accountable, love yourself, D all the above. And then it got into more modality-based healing into Fiji breathwork. Maybe I think they call it semantic breathwork, hyperventilating for an hour, ladies and gentlemen, that's what we're doing. psychedelic experiences, allowing us to go deeper within ourselves, because when our mind is more open, we are more open and our thought process is different. And we're more open to different outcomes and different scenarios that we weren't before, because we're usually so stuck in our ways and that we've just got it all figured out when we don't. And we have a desire to heal. We open up, we're like a flower, we open up and, the healing begins. And once it begins, it really never stops. And I firmly believe that. I tell myself every day when I turn my shower on cold, it's the most miserable part of my day. But I repeat, I am committed to the work every single day of my life. And some days I have to remind myself what that work is on there. But this is a long-winded preface to a question on here, but the reason I'm mentioning all this is self-healing, I believe is our responsibility as human beings. And I think that a lot of physical ailments that take place are a lack of self-healing and a lot of emotional-based trauma that have caused the disease, right? Because disease is what, is dis-ease in the body on here. So when it comes to, and not just physically healing, but emotionally healing as human beings. How does that play into what you're doing to help folks?
Yeah, I love that you said that. And you know what, Sebastian, not a lot of people think about that. No, not at all. It's terrifying. And we always incorporate emotional trauma into a physical, you know, bigger picture, physical diagnosis, the physical healing part, because you are so right. Often, most often, a physical illness starts at an emotional trauma level. So we do go back to that. And we mention that, and we honor that. And we start to plant the seed of maybe something happened 20 years ago, and that's why you're experiencing constant gut issues, for example. We go back to say, hey, was there maybe an unhealed betrayal in your life that you think about every day and maybe is gnawing at your stomach, and that's why you have stomach ulcers. And I'll tell you 100%, when I ask that question, people are like, yeah, yeah, you're right. We don't talk about the exact event if they don't want, because that's a big, deeper discussion, but we bring awareness to how emotional trauma often leads to a physical illness. And that right there is the root cause of a physical illness. And if we can get down to the emotional trauma piece of this, say using, you know, we just human to human contact, you know, psilocybin, micro journeys, macro journeys, you know, other healing medicines that can get us to a place where we can actually finally heal that trauma. It's a golden experience. So that right there is the center of everything that I do. And I speak to a lot of people who, who took the vaccine and they didn't want it, but they wanted to, you know, they had to keep their job. They wanted to get on the plane. They wanted to get to the hospital to see their grandma.
Oops. Sorry about that. I hit the wrong button. Don't mind me.
That's okay. There's, there's a massive heart betrayal that's happened. And I'm here to acknowledge that because there is no other health care provider in these people's lives that acknowledge that. And that is part of a healing from a vaccine injury or cancer, because I believe cancer is a vaccine injury.
Sure. So you said you're working on a new product you're releasing in the States in 2025. Tell me about that.
So we are located in Washington as well. We have a small Ezra healing team in Washington that we speak with USA clients and we ship out our healing medicines there. So we have one admin and we have a wonderful nurse influencer that's coming on board. She has a very far reach. We also get referrals from Dr. Mathis, who is an oncologist in Canada and he has many patients around North America. So we cross collaborate with different physicians as well, different health care providers. So I love the U.S. It's 10x of Canada. They are used to private health care. They're ready to pay what we're worth. And I appreciate that. And so I love working with U.S. clients. They're no offense, Canada, but USA has beat you on that one.
Well, you guys got free health care. We don't.
And that's the thing, people, you know, the free healthcare here in Canada is not working for people anymore. So this is the model that people have to, in Canada, have to get used to. If you want to see somebody like me, you're going to have to pay. So that's just the way of the world.
Interesting. Say, well, there's no free lunch. Isn't that what they always say?
There is no free lunch. And I mean, people, Canadians, they pay taxes, that goes to their healthcare. So really, essentially, they are still paying. They're just not getting the quality product that they deserve.
Right. Yeah. So what are you most excited about for 2025, besides your podcast?
I think the world is going to do a massive positive shift here. I think we're going to see such an enlightened great awakening. I think we're going to see humans come together on a level that we've never seen before. I'm super positive and hopeful that we're going to see massive restoration and healing in our communities. in our homes, in our families, and especially in our hearts, because it all starts with us in our heart to make the world a better place. And maybe it sounds cliche, but we are living in times where these sayings of our lifetime are coming true. So I'm super positive for 2025. I think I'm going to usher in healing and abundance for myself and for the clients that I see. very focused on getting the podcast all organized and structured well to get people's stories out because people are ready to talk. A lot of people are ready to talk and that excites me so much. So I want to be just this supportive vessel for these people who are ready to share their beautiful healing stories.
Love that. I love that. And I'm excited to be part of that journey with you as well. It's so great to connect with you. I really enjoyed our conversation. I'm excited to see how 2025 unfolds for you. I do agree with you and am believing the best is yet to come and that people are waking up for the better and stepping into what they know their life um mission is as a human being and as a whole and as the more we start to collaborate and come together as a as a collective with that thought process the faster it starts to happen and what a beautiful just snapshot an idea of what the world could possibly be i automatically start thinking about the um The Coca-Cola commercial back in, I think it was the 80s. And I think it was to the tune of, I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. And it was a television commercial for Coca-Cola, right? that showed people from all around the world coming together. And one person started singing that song, and then the next person started singing the song. And by the end of the commercial, they were all singing, I'd like to teach the world to sing in perfect harmony. So that's what I'm hoping for. You can hold the Coca-Cola. You soda drinkers out there, I'm not judging. I'm not judging. I do like a good Coca-Cola every now and then, but anyhow, I'm believing the same as well. Svetlana, thank you so much for your time and for hanging out with me for a few minutes. Any final thoughts for our listeners?
Yeah, listen to your heart. Listen to your intuition. Listen to your gut. Stop with all the distraction around you. Go within and really listen to that because that is your truth. That is your information for long lasting healing. You know the answers already. Just trust yourself. Remember who you are. and find people who support what your heart is telling you and you're going to be successful and win. So cut off what no longer serves you and find your tribe who is for you.
I love that. Thanks again for your time.
Thank you, Sebastian.
