What is happening for these people? One of us is happening. One of us is a lot of show on host to ask for rock. As always, I gotta tell you, about a month ago, I started breaking out getting your body into post. Body fat burst and turn energy. Anyhow, let's call through this. No OSM. I gotta tell you, no brain fog, laser focus, sustained energy with no dinner. That's really what got me. I got a lot of energy, but it's hard. Stay on it, grind, and uh get work done at the end of the day. Not actually followed. So that's exactly what the Keto OS product has done for me. So I thought it'd be appropriate to jump on with my good friend and top nutritionist, Mr. Rob De Bohr. Also consuming the keto OS product has been since the beginning of the launch of the company some four years ago. So I'm really excited about this. If you've been wondering about a keto diet, ketosis, feeling better, having more energy, et cetera, et cetera. Well, you've tuned in to the right show. Friends, please help me welcome to the show. Well, this will be me once again, because we pre-recorded this on Facebook, and my good friend, top nutritionist in the nation, Mr. Rob De Boer. Let's dive right down to it. Before I do it, I'm just gonna take a sip of my uh Maui Punch uh Keto OS that we're gonna talk about later. This little bottle right here, like a million motivational speakers running through your body. And I'm not talking about pre-workout, we're talking about ketones here, aren't we, Rob? So um Rob, you and I met probably uh 10 years ago um in in Las Vegas. Uh we're working with another company. Uh we stayed in touch, a lot of common interests, um, a lot of common um friends. And um a few years back, um you uh got into the space of um, you've always been in the nutrition space, but the world of ketosis and ketones. Um shortly thereafter, I hit you up about it. Hadn't really given any um laser focus to it because I really wasn't active at the gym like I should be. A few months back, I went and joined Equinox, which I'm ridiculously happy with. I've only missed three days and a month and a half. Um, I love it that much. And I decided to take my uh uh a product that I had sitting on my shelf in my office uh from a year ago that I bought after you and I had a conversation, and I started using it and integrating it into my morning process of taking pre-workout and my vitamins, etc. And I've got to tell you, it's not this magical stuff, but it does clear your mind. It gives you sustained, non-jittery energy because God knows I don't need any more energy and I just feel great. So let's back up to how you entered the space and maybe just give people first, let's just start with what a ketone is and what ketosis is, and let's run into your story and how you got involved and then how you and I uh decided to team up here um and uh take this thing to the moon.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure. So thanks for having me. The Seb Rusk show. I love the ring of that. And you you were born with with a host uh with some host pipes. You're you're you're made to host shows for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Thanks, Rob.

SPEAKER_00

Um got a great face for radio too. I entered into the space very differently, you know, about four and a half, five years ago, uh had gone through a divorce and was launching an apparel company. Ironically, the name of the apparel company was Prove It. And I wanted to prove to some ex-partners and ex-people in my life that I could start an apparel company, and that's where the name originated. And at the time, my father um was diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer's, his mother died of that, and so I was just researching online and I came across type 3 diabetes, also known as Alzheimer's disease. And everywhere you looked, there was something about ketones, ketogenic, ketosis, ketogenesis. And then I ran across Dr. Mary Newport, who is a specialist with Prove It Today, who wrote a book called Alzheimer's, What If There Was a Cure, The Story of Ketones. And so ketones are a fuel source that your body's meant to produce. In other words, we were created as ketogenic beings. Your body doesn't see past the last calorie you ate. And that's why, if you have any surplus calories, your body keeps them and it stores them. Unfortunately, it doesn't store them as muscle, it stores them as body fat. And so what happened was a friend of mine, you know, Brian Underwood, called me up and he says, What do you know about ketones? That's it, be you. He said, Uh, what do you know about ketones? And I said, Only everything. And I was very passionate about it at the time, trying my dad. And excuse me, he said, You still have that apparel company, prove it. And I said, Yes. He's like, Well, if I can prove to you that you can actually drink ketones, which at my, you know, my stance was you can't. You had to make them, you didn't consume them, right? Um, he said, Would you come help us launch the company? And oh, by the way, can we use the name of your former apparel company to name um this new brand? And I said, Absolutely. And so that was about three and a half, four years ago. We've now been in the marketplace for I guess two years. Um, we'll do, I don't know, hundreds of millions of dollars in sales to date over the last couple of years. And here's the deal: we have background in direct marketing, network marketing, multi-level marketing, one of the pyramid Aaron Way looking business. I don't care what you call it. The reason this is different is we have a product that's different and it allows us to build and create an infrastructure to sell product the way I think network marketing was meant, where people actually want a product unattached to an opportunity. And so we were very adamant leading with education. You know, with most network marketing companies, the whole design is distributor acquisition through opportunity because everyone essentially has the same products, and we can agree to disagree on that. You know, I do all the time with people, but a shake's a shake, a bar's a bar, a cleanse a cleanse, a drink's a drink. Here, we're talking about an entirely new category, not in direct sales or network marketing, in the nutrition industry. So prove it is solely responsible for pioneering this space because thanks to the US government through DARPA, the Department of Defense and Office of Naval Research, some smart people at the University of South Florida, a patent was created where combining beta-hydroxybutyrate with mineral salts, so BHB salts with MCTs could produce what would ordinarily take your body, I don't know, 36 hours of fasting or several weeks of ketogenic dieting, high fat, low carb. And this is nothing new, it's not new space, it's a bit trendy. You know, high fat, low carb is in the news. It was just on Megan Kelly, intermittent fasting. There's all the things. I was. I love the honesty. Yeah. Um, so so at the end of the day, we're talking about a new space. I I liken it to it's a food nutrient, healthier than food that you can't find in food. You go to a grocery store, there is an aisle where you can find fat and carbohydrates and proteins, but there is not an aisle where you can find ketones. Your body must make them. Or now, because of this government patent that Prove It has the license to, they also have worldwide exclusive rights to what's called the Vlacos patent for ketones and weight loss. You now can drink ketones. Now, when you drink ketones, does that mean you start burning body fat? No, it does not. And that's where I think some waters get muddy. I think some people will be quick to judge kind of this message. But if you unpeel the layers, the way you've started to experience it, when you understand the science, you'll realize I'll put my 50 calories of ketones up against 50 calories of chicken or bacon or fruit salad, or you name it. This is just a very healthy nutrient your body's meant to use, but because of the carb economy, we just never tap into body fat stores as an energy source.

SPEAKER_02

That yeah, that that that that definitely when I watched the the the campfire video that uh that that Brunson did for you guys, that really breaks down. Have you ever started a campfire before? And I'm gonna send you guys a link that you can check on on my page and watch the video because it really breaks it down a very third grade level, which is um what Russell teaches you should you you should you should um educate people on because that means everyone's gonna understand. But um first thing I thought of, and again, this broadcast is not to sell a product or to enroll you into an opportunity or lotions, potions, and juice. It's not about that at all. I only wrap my um uh my my head and and hands around products that I am a using uh and or truly believe in um with an individual that I have an existing long-term relationship with. Now, this package of uh drinkable ketones was sitting on my uh bookshelf for about a year and a half. And every morning I've been waking up going to Equinox, and I think I got a pretty solid workout program down. I got a pretty good pre-workout that doesn't give me jitters, that uh gives me a nice, sustained long workout. And it happened to be a fruit punch flavor. So I mixed the Maui punch with my pre-workout, and uh I was uh go go rocket fuel. And it was a sustained, manageable, not oh my gosh, this is crazy, holy cow! But you're able to focus and think. And I think once you get into the groove at the gym and in your workout, you should be focused, you should be planning your day, you should be running through your goals, you should be analyzing your life and thinking about things, in addition to pushing yourself on the physical part on there. So that those two components really came together. And I called Rob and I was like, dude, I started drinking that product that I bought last year and did nothing with, probably because I wasn't going to the gym and I had no sort of fitness um regime whatsoever. But I do this for a living. I talk and tell stories and create buzz for brands, but I'm doing that when I can wrap my head and heart around the product. Now, I know both you and Brian uh for several years, we've got a long-standing relationship, and I've seen this thing go from an idea uh to an actual multi-million dollar brand. And the good part about it is, and you touched on this a little bit. That is network marketing, MLMs, pyramids, schemes, whatever you want to call opportunities that have come across your path in the past. The upside of a company like Proveit is they've got a product that's hey, listen, we've got customers that consume our product and we make it available to them. We've also got people that consume our product that see a tremendous value in not only consuming the product, but people are saying, Hey, you look great. You've been working out, hey, you look great. Have you lost weight? Hey, your energy level seems to be there. Your whole mood has changed. What's going on? And it's not this magical supplement or drink on here. It is a it's a scientifically proven uh government patented way to be able to drink ketones when we normally have to generate them within the human body. So I didn't need much information. Now, the the pushback, of course, there's been a lot of pushback. I've been getting private messages and text messages, and hey Sebastian, I I I hate to butt in here, but um, I don't know. You can I don't know if you can drink ketones. It sounds like a bunch of BS to me. And with everything, there will be skeptics, there will be people that want to argue the point. My encouragement to those that have had feedback is hey, listen, why don't you just drink the product for a couple of days and tell me how you feel? Okay, if you feel the same, we'll never discuss it again. If you feel great, then we can further the conversation on what it's doing in my life to overall impact um my overall well-being and then yours as well. So, so um let's talk about that a little bit. I know you can push back pertaining to the technology.

SPEAKER_00

Let's head that right on, you know, because I always try to put myself, why would someone not like us, right? If if our goal is educating the masses, right? Well, it's because they associate us with opportunity. So let's come right at what the objection is. Okay, is the objection value, overpriced product, competition in the market? Here's what makes this so simple. I can prove what I'm telling you in your blood work. You don't want research or clinical studies from strangers under conditions you didn't control in some country or state at a time frame that you didn't oversee. Why is there any better validation than what I can prove in your blood work? Well, I can do that 100% of the time. Think about that for a minute. The reason that people are so against network marketing is because it's mindset and motive. Well, gosh, Sebastian must be telling us about this. The hook is he gets a commission. If I buy this, it's one of those direct sales models. If I buy it, here's the reality: Sebastian's telling you there's not a better product on the market that can raise ketones higher, faster, and sustain them longer that exists at this price point. In other words, we can prove our product is better than the competition in your blood, which is the highest level of validation that exists. So now we've removed motive. Yes, question my motive all you want, but at the end of the day, I'm still telling you here's what ketones do. They do what I say they're going to do. Go research it all you want. Just go type in ketones on Google, followed by inflammation, fat loss, dementia, type 3 diabetes, type 2 diabetes, type 1 diabetes, um, gout, um, PS post-traumatic stress disorders, anxiety. Just type it in and realize what the research, not our research, what it says over the last century. Literally, this is not a new conversation, but the ability to drink ketones is a new conversation. And so when we are leading with education, now it's just a matter of your neighbor will be healthier drinking ketones. Not because I say so, because that's science. That's the way the human body's made. That's what we've seen anecdotally in tens of thousands of customers now in the last two years. Okay. Well, where's all the research? The research is coming. Like creatine had no research when it first came out in the late 80s. Everybody questioned it. Why would you use creatine? I mean, you could get creatine from red meat. Your body can make creatine. Creatin has gone on to become the most well-published, most documented, credible. It's changed the landscape of performance nutrition. And nobody, no expert questions creatine monohydrate, which was launched under the same parameters. Misinformation, misunderstanding, misunderstood. Well, here we are three centuries later, creatine generates billions of dollars globally, and it's performance nutrition. It doesn't even, it's not relevant to the masses. What ketones are is relevant to the human race. If it's a two-year-old with autism, if it's an 82-year-old with Alzheimer's, if it's Cam Newton who has a concussion, if it's the everyday average soccer mom or dad that wants to just lose weight and feel great. That's what matters here. That's what we can prove, and that's why the that's why it's so compelling. I'll say this. I get the stigma of network marketing. I get it. And it's all because of motive and mindset. Well, I can erase all motive. If you're looking for the best product to generate ketones in your body at a level that matters, there's about 15 brands that you can try, blood test. And at the end, after pricking your finger 15 times, 15 different days, you will see that Prove It's Keto Max product stands alone as the gold standard. That's why our sales are what it is. That's why, unlike every other network marketing company that leads with opportunity, we lead with education because we believe if I can educate Sebastian, his mom, his dad, his next door neighbor, his gym trainer, if I can educate them and they have an open mind on why they might drink ketones, then all of a sudden it makes sense. I've not found a well-thought reason why someone says says, it's it okay to have a sweet potato, but not ketones. 50 calories of bacon and avocado, but not ketones. I'm looking for that answer. The reality is your body makes ketones. Why would I pay for something that your body makes? Great point. The reality is most people can't won't and don't. They just can't, won't, and don't. And so we're introducing them to something that if I could boil it all down to here, if you're listening, just think of this. You know how to lose weight. You do. Go eat clean boiled chicken, broccoli, control your activity, balance your hormones, all these different things, and force your body to use your love handles as a fuel source. That's called fat loss, that's called energy balance. Calories in matter, energy out matters. You either are left with a maintenance point, surplus, storing, deficit d deleting. Well, we want to put your body in a position to delete the body fat, in my case, around my midsection. How do we do that? Control through compliance, right? The reason people lose weight and then gain it back is they can't stay compliant to a healthy lifestyle. Ketones create compliance, they help control the quality and quantity of energy coming in. In other words, if I can tell your brain to no longer depend, crave, and feel addiction to processed carbs and sugar, you're gonna control better the energy in the food coming in, the quantity of that food coming in. If I can show you how to drink ketones, which one of the easiest ways, Seb Rust, to keep to lose fat is keep muscle. If I can show you, hey, one of the easiest ways to keep muscle, drink ketones on a daily basis, twice a day is even better. So if I can help you keep muscle, guess what? That's the other half of energy balance. Muscle is very energy expensive. For you to sit there and be a muscular person, just sitting there costs more energy, more energy out than if you're sitting there and you're not such a muscular person. So if I can control energy in, increase energy out by keeping muscle, I've just created a compliant formula to a healthier lifestyle. That's what we've seen. Anecdotally, right? Understand what this means. We don't have all the research, but we have all the people in the real life stories that anecdotally are saying exactly what we're saying, showing exactly what we're showing. And the best part is it's blood tested. This isn't placebo. I believe in placebo. 37% placebo works, but I also know you can't fool someone when they have this in their blood. Like you can't trick your body to test for blood ketones if they're not there. And 100% of the time, in one hour, I can put you into a state of ketosis, not ketogenesis, not ketone generation, not fat burning, but I can put you into ketosis, which will lead to compliance, and compliance is key to fat loss.

SPEAKER_02

So who have you found? Obviously, there's been just a wide demographic of individuals that have consumed this product over the past three to four years. Who have you found has been the largest demographic? Has there been an age group? Has there been a specific lifestyle fit, not fit, want to get fit, overweight, underweight, kids, teenagers?

SPEAKER_00

Sure. And you know, I think forever weight loss matters. Like that's going to be the topic of conversation. I tell people, if you knew what I knew with the research I did on how to assure my kids don't have to see me lay in a bed the way I had to see my dad die of type 3 diabetes, also known as Alzheimer's, if you knew what I knew about ketones' duty to brain health or academia, that strice towards fat law. Dealing with autistic children. If it's let me put it this way the human race is designed to use ketones as an energy source. We're not designed to go to the grocery store every time we get hungry, just go back and refuel all our glycogen stores. We're meant to survive through being a ketogenic body. I believe I don't follow a keto lifestyle. I don't follow a high-fat, low-carb diet. I believe being in a state of ketosis is the most metabolically healthy way to live. You can do it exogenously, externally by drinking ketones. You can do it internally, endogenously by dieting, which is very strict. Okay, but a lot of people do it. I'm just saying we've got a bridge, we've got a tool that will help you be healthier because it's a healthier nutrient going into your body. So it fits everyone. It really does. In other words, education is so important here because nobody knows about ketones. There's a lot of misinformation out there. I mean, forever the word ketosis and ketogenesis were synonymous. Ketosis must mean fat burning. No, ketosis means keto, ketone, osis, condition or state. It just means a condition or state of heightened levels of blood ketones. Has nothing to do with fat burning. The problem is ketogenesis, ketone generation, fat burning, was the only way to achieve ketosis until ketone supplementation arrived on the world stage three years ago.

SPEAKER_02

Somebody asked a question. Um, is there a proven product you recommend for Alzheimer's? Robert is asking.

SPEAKER_00

Well, so we obviously can't play doctor, we can't make claims. I would encourage people to go Google what does it mean to be in ketosis and Alzheimer's? In fact, I would steer you, and I'm very passionate about this. This was my whole interest getting involved with the company, because my grandmother, my mom, my dad's mom, and my dad both died of that deadly disease, and it's awful. Well, if you go Google Ketones and Alzheimer's, you're gonna run across a book called Alzheimer's, What If There Was a Cure, the Story of Ketones. Most people don't realize why is coconut oil on the shelf of every grocery store. And has anybody asked why? Well, it's in large part because of Dr. Mary Newport, who treated her husband with high amounts of MCT oil, coconut oil, which is primarily MCT's, because it converts easily into ketone energy in the right condition. So I would tell people look, we provide ketones in a drinkable form. What does that mean to neurodegenerative disease like Alzheimer's dementia? Just go Google it. What you're gonna find is when you type in ketones before Alzheimer's and then glucose, which by the way is what we're all fueling on for the most part every day, you're gonna see why am I choosing to put sugar in my body but not a fat fuel source? And it's just going to open the door to more education. And if I can educate people on why to drink ketones, they're gonna figure out how to fit this into their lifestyle. They're gonna figure out how to afford it, they're gonna figure out how to give up some of the sugar metabolism substances that fuel their body every day and start putting in fat metabolism fuel sources or good fats that will help shift that metabolism. That's what we're mental.

SPEAKER_02

It's funny you say that because right before we went live, I got uh lunch real quick. I got done with lunch and I was I was I was eyeing the protein bars on the counter because I didn't want to go sweets, I didn't want to go ice cream middle of the day, and I looked at it, it was like too much of a commitment for the protein bar. I'm like, well, maybe just a bite. And I look right next to it is a sh is is the is my shaker bottle. And I look at the time, I go, it's it's one o'clock, it's time for a little ketone action. And let me tell you, I drank it. Not that I need any more energy, not that I needed energy for this interview, but that after lunch little uh, you know, slug that you normally that we all get, the sluggish that we normally pound coffee for, um, really helps you just welcome in uh the afternoon. And like it says right here, this is I I you know packaging's one thing, right? And I really just love how this thing it comes in a box, but it's got a little dispenser here. All fantastically um branded, right? Um, I'm selling it good, aren't I? I'm not selling it. I'm actually going over the stuff on the side of the uh of the box here. But every day I go grab one of these packages out, it says uh fat loss, muscle uh preservation, fat and sustained and uh fast and sustained energy reduces brain fog, increases uh uh increased focus. Who doesn't want to be more focused? Appetite suppression, strength gain, better mood, better sleep, better digestion, clear skin. So I have noticed that too, because I always I get like sometimes my face is red in specific areas and pounding these things clear as the day is long. They're a little red right here, but um glad I pointed that out. But um I I'm experiencing these things because I'm uh as I'm taking and consuming the product, right? When I made a decision to say, I'll I'll I'll stand behind this product and I'll associate my name and my brand with this product, it was because I became a product of the product uh before I decided to sell the product. And you and then that's with anything, I believe.

SPEAKER_00

Here's what's interesting the biggest brands in the world are wanting to associate themselves. Think about it. Go Google ketone supplements. There's a dozen of them now, and they're from big brands that you've heard of. You know, there's there's there's major companies trying to figure out how to crack into this space. They can't figure out what has made Provid so special. It's the community, it's the people, it's the education, it's leading with real science, real information. And and to validate that, anyone who's an expert in ketone science over the last decade or so, they've either spoken on our stage. Again, they're not necessarily part of our company, but people even like Dr. Mary Newport, who treated her husband with coconut oil, just go Google the name, read her book, New York Times bestseller. They're passionate about what we're doing because what we have is real. I'm not saying there's not merit in other supplement companies. Good lord, they're convenient, easy, taste good sometimes. We're on the go. I mean, but what we have is different. Every supplement company, every protein shake competes with the grocery store. I don't. My ketone product doesn't compete with the grocery store because you don't drink ketones, and that's what I think is so powerful. Now, the only other kind of objection is well, why would I pay if I could go make them myself? Well, because most people can't. And let's maybe get you there, right? And I would tell you this: what you're gonna see with science is a ketogenic diet that is strictly adhered to equals incredible metabolic health. A ketogenic diet that is strictly adhered to plus ketones, incredible metabolic health, and life is a whole lot easier. So if you take away one message, it's this ketones create compliance, so they will work. Like they will work. You don't have to wonder if they'll work. It's going to help you better understand energy balance and control that. So whatever your goals are, it will work.

SPEAKER_02

Is that is that what you mean, Rob? Just when you say compliance, um uh most of us know what it means. Um, sometimes some people would view it as a big word. What would you say? Another um advanced.

SPEAKER_00

Here's the easier way to think about it. Sure. There is a difference between hunger and appetite. Appetite is your desire to eat. Hunger is your body's physiological need to eat. Most of us don't eat when we're hungry. We all eat because of our desire to eat, because our hormonal imbalance, because of insulin resistance, because of processed carbs and sugar. Our brain thinks we need to feed. And so oftentimes we're responding to our appetite, not actual hunger. And that's why we're an obese society. What if I could help you control your appetite, control your desire? So now you don't have a desire to eat. You only eat because you're hungry and your body needs you to eat. The problem is we're eating when we don't need to eat, and all that excess eating creates excess body fat storage. Oh, I know all about it. That's right. So so when I say compliance, it's going to help you resist cravings, not overeat. We know I shouldn't eat that, but my brain's telling me I want it, and my willpower isn't strong enough to say no. Ketones will help you say no in many of these instances.

SPEAKER_02

Somebody commented and said their daughter was struggling with social anxiety at school. Started taking keto orange OS for two weeks, and has been a drastic change. Uh, having a teenager, I know that drastic changes in a positive direction for teenagers is like the hallelujah chorus waking you up in the morning.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. This is the original formulation. Um, this is 2.1. We still sell this product. It started as 1.0, obviously, but this is the one based on the government patent where you combine MCTs, medium-chain triglycerides, that's what's found in coconut oil, and you combine that with BHB salts, beta hydroxybutyrate mineral salts. So ketones plus these good fats creates this original product that kind of put us on the map. And Sebastian, because the industry is the way it is, because of lobbyists, because of money, there's so much we can't say, but there are so many stories about children struggling with depression, attention deficit disorders, attention deficit hyperactive disorders, and misdiagnosis. What do we do? We over-prescribe meds. What if we could just get the brain speaking better to the body? Well, when you start researching ketones and cell signaling, again, this is all stuff that we're seeing anecdotally happen. What is the variable? The only variable, the only change was this little girl started drinking ketones. This little boy stopped eating so much sugar. Why? Because he was able to control his appetite. Why? Because ketones create compliance. So there's just story after story after story. Um, you know, we're under a microscope. We don't want to make any claims. We can't do that. We're not allowed to do that. We're not experts, I'm not a registered dietitian, nutritionist, um, PhD, MD, any of that. What I am is someone that has dove in headfirst trying to learn how does this apply to the average person in everyday life, and that's what makes it so exciting. That's what makes the operator. I'm unashamed to say we've made great money. That's awesome, but that's not drives me. You can look around this community, that's not what fills Rob Damore's tank. It just happens to be one of the ways we keep scores. When someone starts drinking ketones, that person's quality of life, I don't wonder if it's going to get better because of what science tells me will happen to that person. What science tells me, not my theory, not some research, but what science says being in a state of ketosis really means to the human body. So obviously, we could go on all day. I know we wanted to do a test drive. Appreciate you reaching out, getting on board. Hopefully, we'll try to see you in Boca Ratone here in a couple weeks at the Epic event. Yeah, I'm so excited.

SPEAKER_02

I remember I remember calling you last year when I when I first learned and really understood what was going on with Prove It and the product and ketones and found out what a ketone was. I was all fired up and ready to rock and roll and let's go and ketone buzz. And you said, Hold on, but hold on a second here. Why don't you just try the product out and let me know how you feel?

SPEAKER_00

Let's just tell you we we have 30 plus customers for every one person trying to make money. It's some exorbitant number. If it were 10, that would be fantastic. With most companies, it might be two or three, and it's your next door neighbor, your grandma, and your your your chocolate lab, right? In this company, in this business, we have a real customer base that buys the product because they want the product unattached to an opportunity. That's what makes this special, that's what makes this tick. That's why I'm unashamed about the opportunity. Gosh, with this company, we never talk about the opportunity. Here's all we talk about. Have you ever heard of ketones or ketosis? You know, to show how powerful the market is, think of it this way: ask 10 people, pick any 10 at the gym, at church, at your workplace. Have you ever had a protein shake? Likely all 10 of them have. How about a bar? Taking a vitamin, drinking juice, had a cleanse. All of those, yes. There's no education that goes into teaching someone about drinking nutrients, protein, carb, fat, vitamins, and minerals. But when you ask those same 10 people, you ever been in ketosis for five days? They don't even know what you're talking about. So it opens the conversation for the average person to just start pointing them towards information where if we can educate someone, they're willing to try it. Almost everybody's willing to try anything once. And when they try this product, they'll start buying this product. And when they buy this product, they become a product of the product. People ask, What are you doing? I'm drinking ketones. You ever heard of it? Nope. Let me send you some information. That's how this industry is supposed to work, by the way. It's not supposed to be about how much money you can make and how rich you can get and whose team's the biggest, and we've got great leaders, and look at my car. It really is. Let us educate you on why you need what we have to offer. Let us prove to you that what we're saying is true when it enters your body, which by the way, you can't do with other supplements. And that's our differentiator. That's our advantage in the marketplace. And that's why I don't know, we'll do a quarter of a billion dollars. I think we did last year, ended up just under 250, under 300 million, something like that.

SPEAKER_02

So the product clearly works, and it's been led by education and by providing a product to a community that wants to consume the product. And oh, by the way, if you're that excited about it and you want to tell those that are closest to you that you care about the product, um, you integrate it into your business, there's an opportunity to do that, but we're here to educate you on what this is and provide you with a product. That's what I absolutely love about it. And for the record, and making it known on this episode, uh, before I start getting the text messages and and private messages on Facebook, uh, that Sebastian Rusk is now an MLM or I loathe the network marketing and multi-level marketing and that whole pyramid world. I I brushed up against it a few years back and said, never again. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. This is good stuff. Why do you loathe it? What's the real reason? Because it's failed every time I've had an opportunity, and I'm using air quotes.

SPEAKER_00

That's but why has it failed? Was it because maybe you didn't have a competitive advantage? Because maybe what you were saying. The product sucked.

SPEAKER_02

Or it didn't work. So anytime I was offered an opportunity of lotions, potions, and juices, the company would be there and then it would go away, or the product would work and then it stopped working, or the person that sent and signed you up became a magician and did his who his best Houdini and disappeared, and it was always disappointing. I think everyone has experienced that at some form or fashion within the world of network marketing. Hence why I'm so excited about this opportunity because I was you you talked me out of selling the product when I first asked about it.

SPEAKER_00

And so you don't need to sell this. You really don't, you're exactly right. You don't need to sell this. If someone's fat and they get skinny, they got skinny because science worked. Like the greatest thing would be this. Think about this. My goal for everyone is to help you feel the way you want to feel, look the way you want to look, have healthy biomarkers or blood work, but also do it in a lifestyle that works for you. Now, there's gonna be some sacrifice, there's gonna be some give and take, but ketones help make that happen. That's the goal. So now all of a sudden, the common denominator is you know what? I lost the weight, I feel great, and I don't feel like I'm snacking on rice cakes, eating tree bark and drinking water to make it happen. Like it's a realistic lifestyle, and that's what grabs people, that's what's attractive, and that's why we don't have to sell the product.

SPEAKER_02

Makes makes perfect sense. Last question. Uh, personal trainers, you know, the people that have all of the answers pertaining to fitness and being fit and being uh the newest, you know, calisthenics and the newest, you know, I get there's men wearing tights now at the gym. So um I know they're compression pants. They're the required uniform tights. Um, what what kind of conversations are you having with, I'd say your peers, right? Uh trainers, people that are within the nutrition space that would say, What are you gonna tell me about ketones that I don't already know? What does that conversation look like?

SPEAKER_00

That's the biggest demographic that's hardest to crack. And the reason is we already know it all. I'm that guy. Like I'm that guy. We already know it all. Right. You know, how many trainers have you heard say, Don't pay attention to the scale, pay attention to how your clothes fit? Well, I've changed my stance on that because I can see that in four or five weeks, if those fat cells actually shrink, what if they fill up with water? Your pants aren't gonna fit any different, but you actually lost the fat. So it's again all within context. However, if a trainer is open, which by the way, if they're not, find a new trainer because that means they've stopped learning, right? But if a trainer is open, just say, look, objectively, shoot holes in this, kick the tires. What are your real reasons for not accepting this as a true food nutrient? Healthier than bacon, healthier than apples, healthier than sweet potatoes, healthier than chicken. Now we need all of them, but if you're okay with someone drinking a protein shake but not drinking ketones, I would just love to what is your stance? Why is that? The reality is there is not a thoughtful, well, well-delivered case as to why that would be.

SPEAKER_02

Makes sense. Um, and I I would I would imagine that um as I've had a few conversations with a few trainers in my gym and they look at me like I have 10 heads and boogers as I continue the ketone conversation. Um, I I I totally get it. Um I'm a firm believer in go where you're uh celebrated, not tolerated. Go where people want to understand how your life is being impacted based on the consistency and the discipline you have pertaining to nutrition and fitness, uh, et cetera. So, friends, thank you so much for tuning in. We've had well, almost over 100 people uh tune in here today and share the show. A lot of people from your network, too, that I don't know. So it's great to connect uh with all of you. Uh the reason I did the podcast episode for the Seb Rush Show via Facebook Live is because I want to I want to do a face-to-face interview uh with Rob. I want to introduce him to our community because we are going to uh create a um a several part series with my podcast. So you'll be able to subscribe to it uh in iTunes, iHeartRadio, uh, Google Play, wherever uh you uh listen to podcasts. It's called The Seb Rush Show. Just search the Seb Rush Show or Social Buzz on Air. You'll get updates from both Rob and myself. If you've got questions about ketones, the best thing to do is just head over to my website, ketonebuzz.com. Check out that campfire uh video that Russell Brunson put together. It breaks it down on a third grade level. And if you've got questions about it, my strongest recommendation is just try it out for five days. And you got the opportunity to do that right below uh that campfire video there on ketonebuzz.com. Rob, I appreciate you, brother. I look forward to seeing you in a couple weeks in Boca. And uh man, who would have known? Here we are, 10 years later, brother. Just getting started. Yes, sir. All right, awesome job, buddy. Thanks for tuning in.
